Meet the Doctors


Donald K. Leedy, M.D.

Dr. Leedy founded Riviera Pediatrics on November 2, 1972 in Indianapolis, Ind. Dr. Leedy was born in New Paris, Ind. After graduating from high school, he attended Indiana University where he went on to graduate from the Indiana University Medical School in 1966. He completed his residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. in 1972.

Dr. Leedy also served in the United States Air Force from 1967-1970 and was assigned to a MASH unit for three years.

Dr. Leedy has five children and nine grandchildren. He is an avid collector of antiques and has owned two antique stores in the past. He frequently visits his second home in Florida to relax on weekends. He is also a master at playing the card game Bridge.


Patricia G. Huse, M.D.

Dr. Huse was born in Muncie, Ind. where she graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1966. After completion of her high school work, Dr. Huse traveled south to Bloomington, Ind. where she attended Indiana University. She completed her undergraduate work with a degree in zoology in 1970. From there, she attended the Indiana University Medical School, completing here medical degree in 1973. Dr. Huse completed her residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. where she was the chief resident in 1975-76.

Dr. Huse is married to Dr. John M. Huse, a widely-popular surgeon. Dr. Huse has two sons, William and James. Dr. Huse resides on the north side of Indianapolis.

Dr. Huse breeds, raises and shows award-winning morgan horses at the national level. You can see Dr. Huse’s passion for horses around our west side office.


Joe M. Hannah, M.D.

Dr. Hannah was born in Mt. Vernon, Ind. in 1949. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1967. After graduating from high school, Dr. Hannah attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., graduating in 1970. He then graduated from the IU School of Medicine in 1974. Dr. Hannah completed his residency at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. in 1977. He has worked at Riviera Pediatrics his entire career.

Dr. Hannah served as the Associate Pediatric Director for Clarian/IU Hospitals, retiring from the position after 14 years at the end of 2011. Dr. Hannah was the Associate Medical Director for the Pediatric Critical Care Unit at Methodist Hospital for 10 years before becoming a Staff Intensivist, a position he held until 2011. Dr. Hannah also served as the Medical Director and Chief of Medical Staff at Lifelines Children’s Hospital for 10 years.

Dr. Hannah is an avid photographer, traveling the country taking wonderful photographs of natural landscapes. You can see some of his artwork at our west side office.

He currently resides in Zionsville, Ind. with his wife, Cherryl, and they have four children (Andrea, Tess, Nicholas and Caroline) and three grandchildren (Charlie, Jack, and Kate).


Michelle A. Timmons, M.D.

Dr. Timmons was born in Lafayette, Ind. After graduating Western Boone High School, she attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Ind. Dr. Timmons received her medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1996. She completed her residency from Methodist Hospital and IU Hospital in Indianapolis in 1999. Dr. Timmons has practiced at Riviera Pediatrics her entire career.

While attending Butler University, Dr. Timmons played on the women’s volleyball team. Dr. Timmons is actively involved in her church and frequently participates in mission trips to Ethiopia. She and her husband also founded Hope For His Children, a non-profit organization that benefits orphaned, abandoned, and impoverished children. She is also a devoted contemporary Christian music fan. Dr. Timmons is married to Chad. They reside in Lebanon, Ind. where they are raising six children (Brock, Erica, Micah, Derek, Cora, and Colin ).


Joshua T. Richey, M.D.

Dr. Richey was born in Kokomo, Ind. He graduated from TriCentral High School in Sharpsville, Ind. in 1991. Dr. Richey attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind., where he graduated with his undergraduate degree in 1995. He then went on to attend Indiana University School of Medicine, receiving his medical degree in 1999. Dr. Richey completed his residency at the University of Mississippi in 2002.

Before joining Riviera Pediatrics in 2005, Dr. Richey practiced for Cardinal Healthcare Systems in Muncie, Ind.

Dr. Richey is an avid music fan. He also enjoys writing on the side. He is also a fan of the L.A. Dodgers and Pittsburgh Steelers. Of course, he still enjoys following the Indianapolis Colts.

Dr. Richey is married to Carrie and has two children (Luke and Blake). He currently resides in Carmel, Ind.
